Where did everything come from? An exploding mass?
Did humans evolve from monkeys? What does Islam say?
http://scienceislam.com/bigbang.php Interestingly enough, the Quran talks to us about these issues in clear and concise words from the Quran. He tells us the whole universe came about as a result of a single mass that Allah broke up into many parts. Also, humans did not come evolve from monkeys or anything else for that matter. We all came from Adam and Eve. Islam aslo insists there is Creation - (from Allah) and at the same time, there is evolution (also from Allah). One of the names of Allah used in Quran many times is "Al-Khalaq" (The Creator) and yet, another name is "Al-Bari" (The Evolver or The Fashioner). Interestingly enough, no other major religion on the earth is in as much agreement with the basics of science as Islam does. In 1977 John Wayne, the famous movie actor had to undergo surgery for his heart. During the operation they found it was necessary to replace a heart valve in the Duke's heart. Instead of going to the local zoo for parts of a monkey, gorilla or an ape, the experts and doctors knew there was only one place to go to save the Duke's life - the valve had to come from "A PIG". When we see evolution in the creation of Allah we know it is still Allah who is actually bringing about all the things that are happening. He is "Al-Khalaq" and "Al-Bari."
