Suhur Meal - An Obligation?

Is it obligatory to wake up for Suhur?

Suhur is a meal, and it’s a Sunnah, it’s a distinction between us and the people of the book, and the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) said, that is a distinction that we break our fast as early as possible and postpone and delay our Suhur as late as possible.

Now, Suhur can be a sip of water, so, if you have half a glass of water and intend that this is your Suhur, it is sufficient. So, is it a must? No, it’s not, if someone eats his last meal at 12 o’clock or 11 o’clock and goes on until Fajr prayer at 3:30 or 4 o’clock and prays Fajr, it’s okay, but it’s always best to follow the Sunnah when it’s possible, but it is not mandatory, and it is not obligatory.
