Sacrificing Animals Other Than An'am

Is it permissible to sacrifice an animal other than the An’am animals like a chicken or a donkey for example? What does one do if they did not have the capacity of a sacrifice?

You cannot sacrifice anything apart from the An'am which are the camels, the cows, the goats and the sheep.

Allah will not accept anything else, if you slaughter a chicken, or whatever.

If you cannot afford to buy the sacrifice, then Alhamdulillah you will not be questioned because this is something beyond your capacity and Allah will not blame you for that.
