Doing Her First Hajj on Behalf of Her Late Father

I want to go for Hajj this year, it's going to be my first Hajj insha'Allah, can I do this with the intention for my late father?

The Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) once heard a man saying: "Labbaikal-Lahumma Hajjatan An Shubrumah", which means that, "Oh Allah, I am performing this Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah", a friend, a brother, a relative, or whatever. So the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) asked this man, he told him, "Did you perform Hajj on your behalf 'for yourself'?", which is the pillar of Islam, the man said, "No", so the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) told him, "First perform Hajj on your behalf, then afterwards perform Hajj on whomever you wish".

So the answer is no, you have to perform Hajj on your behalf, which is the pillar of Islam, afterwards you can perform Hajj on whomever you wish. And the same ruling applies for Umrah as well.
